Privacy Policy
Effective date 14 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Eastside Products Group LLC (Eastside, we, us, or our) collects, uses, discloses, and retains information in connection with HiPlaces and related websites, applications, and services (the Services). HiPlaces may be offered for a particular property, venue, or organization that is an Eastside client. That client may have its own privacy notice and responsibilities for information collected through the Services.
Information We Collect
The information we collect depends on how a person uses the Services.
- Conversation information, including questions submitted by visitors, responses generated by the Services, and related conversation history.
- Technical and usage information, including session identifiers, browser and device information, timestamps, usage activity, and server logs that may include Internet Protocol addresses.
- Location information when a visitor grants permission. Eastside uses location information to provide location-aware experiences and to create aggregate information about activity at a property. Eastside does not intend to maintain continuous individual location histories.
- Analytics and derived information, including topics, usage counts, quality measures, embeddings, and aggregate trends generated from use of the Services.
- Client and account information, including information supplied by Eastside clients and their authorized users to configure, manage, and support a HiPlaces experience.
- Client-provided materials used to create or operate a client-specific HiPlaces experience, such as property information, content, and configuration data.
How We Use Information
Eastside may use information to:
- Provide, maintain, secure, and troubleshoot the Services.
- Generate responses and provide location-aware or property-specific experiences.
- Provide participating clients with analytics and reports concerning their HiPlaces experience.
- Evaluate and improve the Services, including through aggregate trends, quality analysis, and product development.
- Administer client accounts, communicate with clients, and meet contractual obligations.
- Comply with law, protect rights and safety, and prevent misuse or security incidents.
How We Disclose Information
Eastside may disclose information in the following circumstances:
- To the client associated with a visitor’s HiPlaces experience, including through dashboards, reports, and support activities.
- To vendors that provide hosting, analytics, artificial intelligence, security, and other services on Eastside’s behalf. These vendors may process conversation content and other information as necessary to provide their services.
- When required by law or reasonably necessary to protect Eastside, its clients, visitors, or others.
- In connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of all or part of Eastside’s business, subject to appropriate protections.
- With the direction or consent of the person or organization concerned.
Eastside does not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Artificial Intelligence Providers
The Services use third-party artificial intelligence providers to generate responses and analyze interactions. Information submitted through the Services may be transmitted to these providers for those purposes. Eastside configures its services and vendor relationships to limit use of that information to providing and supporting the Services, subject to the applicable provider terms and settings.
Data Retention
Eastside retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, to meet contractual obligations, to maintain security and business records, and to comply with law. Retention periods vary by category. Conversation, session, and usage records are retained for limited operational and analytics periods. Technical logs are generally retained for shorter operational and security periods. Client account information and client-provided materials are generally retained for the client relationship and a limited period afterward.
Eastside may retain aggregate or de-identified information for longer periods when it can no longer reasonably be linked to an individual. In determining a retention period, Eastside considers the nature and sensitivity of the information, the purpose for which it was collected, operational and contractual needs, security risks, and applicable legal requirements.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
Eastside may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to operate the Services, maintain sessions, remember preferences, measure usage, and protect security. Browser settings may allow visitors to limit some of these technologies, although doing so may affect functionality.
Privacy Choices and Rights
Depending on location and the circumstances of collection, a person may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, or to receive information about how it is used and disclosed. Some requests may need to be directed to the Eastside client responsible for the applicable property or experience. Eastside may verify a request and may retain information where permitted or required by law.

Data Security
Eastside uses administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration. No service or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children
The Services are not designed to solicit personal information from children under 13. Children should use the Services only with the involvement of a parent, guardian, school, or participating organization as appropriate. If Eastside learns that it collected personal information from a child in a manner that requires parental authorization and did not receive that authorization, Eastside will take reasonable steps to delete the information.
